DCS is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization registered with the IRS. Our contributions go to support our field trips, art supplies, DCS social gatherings, class parties, continued education for staff members, camps, technology, and administration supplies.
Annual dues of $350 per child are tax deductible and families will be provided with a receipt for dues paid plus any additional donations.

Families are encouraged to pay the annual dues of $350 per student online through Zeffy at the above link. Dues payments are also accepted by cash or personal check if you cannot pay online. Details on how to pay your dues payment/s online or by cash/check will be provided on the fourth step of this process.
In addition to an annual donation of $350 per students, DCS families are encouraged to participate in indirect Fundraising - Box Tops for Education, AmazonSmile, iGive, and others. Please see our Fundraising page for details and more opportunities.
Many local companies provide matching charitable contribution benefits. If your company matches charitable contributions, your DCS dues payment will be eligible for a match. Please work with your company to file the yearly paperwork and contact the DCS Treasurers at treasurer@dcscg.org with questions.
Bylaws 5/23/2013, Section 7.1-Funding Sources - The Community Group shall determine how to fund the operations of the Corporation. Sources may include, but shall not be limited to, dues, charitable contributions and funds generated by fundraising activities by the Community Group.
If a family is unable to pay the annual DCS Dues, a confidential hardship waiver for all or a portion of the balance can be requested by sending an email to the DCS Treasurers at treasurer@dcscg.org.
